problem synchronizing with blackberry

I have the nextel blackberry9270 which was synchronizing just fine with
outlook 2000. when I upgraded to outlook 2003 outlook stopped synchronizing
with my blackberry. I tried removing the blackberry software and reinstalling
it to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this or does any one know what I
might need to do to correct this problem?

Did you upgrade your desktop manager to 4.0?
