I have a server running Windows 2000 Advanced Server using the Veritas Backup
Exec Utility to back up all my data files.  I have several pc's that are
mapped to this server, running Windows XP Pro with Office 2003.  The problem
I am having is the Outlook 2003 Personal Folders and Personal Address Book
files stored on this server receive an error when trying to back up using
Backup exec.  Receive the error \foldername\filename.pab or .pst is a corrupt
file.  This file cannot verify.  Does anyone know of a solution to this issue.

First, no one should be using PABs as they are long obsolete.  Second, no
backup program can do a reliable job on PSTs if Outlook is running and has
those PSTs open.  Outlook must be closed in order for Backup Express to
process the files.  This is true of any file, by the way, not just PSTs.
