I'm getting annoyed that I'm receiving true duplicate messages from a
couple vendors. Same message-ID and everything, and there's no way in
Outlook to automatically check the message-ID of a message as it comes
in and delete it if it's a duplicate message-ID.

In other email clients I've used (including the mail client I use on
my linux box at home) there's at least an option to delete all
duplicate messages in the local mail spool (we're using POP3 for our
email currently) but not in Outlook.

Could someone help me write a macro to sort through all my emails and
delete one copy of any messages that have a duplicate message-id?

There are plenty of duplicate remover tools available, some of them free.
