Hello Rachael, MS Outlook can be successfully used to automate Work
Management processes such as this and there are a number of tools available
to allow this type of operation to be developed. A few years ago I work for
a company named Eastman Software (part of Kodak) who had a very powerful
Work Management product that allowed for the definition of business
processes to be implemented inside Outlook.
Eastman no exist and I'm not certain what happened to that suite of tools.
However, if you are unable to find the solution to our needs, my company
have been involved with Outlook developments since leaving Eastman and would
be happy to provide you with a price for a solution to our needs. You may
find that you are surprised at the low cost of such an approach.
