When I try to send an e-mail from any where in Windows XP
(My Documents, Word, etc)A dialog box opens asking for a
Microsoft Outlook Profile. I know nothing about this and
I do not want to use Outlook. This did not happen before
I installed Office 97 to retrieve some spread sheet info
that I could not open in Works 2003 which I am now using.
I would like to have all Windows XP functions go directly
to Outlook Express which I have set up as my default E-
mail client.

In control panel, internet options, programs, see if OE is set as your
default mail client. If it already was, try setting it to Outlook, closing
the dialog box, then going  back in and resetting it to OE to "remind" it...
