I have an HP paviolion laptop with XP professional
machine (has all security updates applied).  As soon as I
login and before it even finishes loading all
applicaiton, Outlook 2003 opens by itself. Then, windows
tries to keep setting on the focus on outlook.  When I
try to click on something else and if windows can't set
the focus on outlook, it give the message that outlook
couldn't start and if I should started in safe mode.  It
doesn't this over and over until the machines runs out of
memory.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Do you have any synchronisation software installed that cause Outlook to
load on startup?
Also check your Startup folder in the Startmenu and see if there is a
shortcut to Outlook listed there.

Man, I don't believe it.  It was the ActiveSync for my
PocketPC.  Thanks Roady.  You're the man.
