Outlook Inbox show (-1) for unread messages.

My Inbox display on the folders list is showing a (-1)
when I have no email messages to read. When I receive an
email that is unread the display shows nothing beside it.
When I have 2 unread messages then the display shows a
(1). What do I need to do to fix this problem.

I would ran scanpst on the pst (use search to find scanpst.exe)
