I recently purchased a new HP with XP.  My last computer
was a Dell and when I loaded this same Office 2000 Pro
disk on that one, Outlook behaved oddly in the Contacts
folder (it would highlight the first contact when I
clicked on the Contacts folder, then unhighlight it).
Weh I loaded the same Office 2000 Pro disk on my new
machine, my link to Customize Outlook Today is broken.
Does anyone know how to repair this?  I have tried
Dectect and Repair as well as a full uninstall and
reinstall.  Nothing seems to work.

Hi Sheila
i cant understand your real error, but following you could do
If you want your Outlook Today Homepage Back.
R-Click on your personal folder in Outlook | Home Page
res://<your path to your Office
installation>\OFFICE10\1033\outlwvw.dll/outlook.htm
Than you have to chance to activate Outlook today in the Registry
1. START | RUN | REGEDIT | OK
Locate the following key (Outlook2002)
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Today
3. EDIT | NEW | DWORD VALUE with the name DISABLE
4. Doubleclick on the new Value an Type 1 in the Value data box and click OK
Leave the REgistry and restart Outlook
