I am running Office 2000 Pro...no problems with the email.  Just started
using the Calendar.  Tried to load the holidays, was told that they did, but
no holidays showed on the calendar.  Tired to reload, got the message telling
me that they were already there did I want to load them again.  Did that, but
still they do not appear.  Tried to bypass this by adding each holiday /
birthday / anniversary manually as a recurring event (with the time showing
as busy).  For some months, the events show as darkened days on the mini
calendar on the right side of the screen...then they just quit showing up
that way.  I tried deleting and re-adding them, but same problem.  Then I
tried to download updates and got a message that the dat1 file was missing
(even though I browsed until I found it).  Without re-installing, anybody got
any ideas?

You will need the updated Holidays file from Microsoft Office Downloads as
the holidays for Outlook 2000 only run through 2002.
