HI,

Using OL from Office XP on XP Pro, in a SBS2003 domain.
Upgraded from OE. Contacts has many entries and address book none, try
as I might to get them in there (may be irrelevant).

Isn't there any way to get OL to suggest an email addr from a
partial name/addr that I typed in (like OE) ? What am I missing ? Why
is this so complicated ?

I have already checked the "suggest addresses" box.

Ugh,
Denis

Two unrelated questions.

1. Configure the Address Book:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;287563&Product=ol2002

2. How do you know autocompletion doesn't work? Have you sent enough emails
to populate your autocompletion cache?

Configure did it ! Many thanks.

I was wanting the completion/resolution to work from the Contacts
list, and it does now.

Thanks again,
Denis

Autoresolution will work from Contacts data.
Autocompletion will not.
