I made a html-page with microsoft Frontpage to use as an Outlook
template. I saved it in Outlook as an .oft-file and looks good when I
compose a new message. However, the receiver of the message will not
see the background I have in one of the table cells.
I don't know if this has anything to do with this problem but I
discovered that you cannot have a background in an MS Word table cell.
Any help will be appreciated.

I also create an HTML newsletter using FrontPage. I use MS
Word 2003 as the e-mail editor. Then I open a new Outlook
2003 message, move to the FrontPage file and select all
(CTRL+A) copy to the clip board (CTRL+C) and move to the
new message and paste (CTRL+V). All table cells retain
their attributes. Following the distribution to the nearly
1,300 subscribers, I delete all e-mail addresses, and time
dependent links and post to my web site.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for your reply. I cannot follow your answer completely.
The mail I send has alle the attrributes I want. But upon receiving them the
background of one of the cells of a table is not there. If  I do a reply to
that message, the background of the cell magically reappears. But is gone
again when the receiver of that message opens it.
