MS Office Forum / Outlook / New Users / March 2008How can I receive my email through outlook
I have set up my email accounts and there is no errors, I can send email no problem but receiving email is not happening, I have looked at all the settings and read all help sections but nothing works - the emails do arrive to my server ok. please, please, please HELP!!! Hi Andy, your Outlook version (incl.) service packs is? your windows system is? Exchange Server or a POP3 email account? You might try to disable your Antivirus email scanner and try. You will still be protected. Hi Andy, >it is Outlook I am having trouble with, Which version? In Outlook 2002/2003 you can click on a "test" button and Outlook will check your email account. Maybe your provider need "authentication", but it is important to know which Outlook version. Hi, I also have the same problem as Andy as not being able to receive email through Outlook 2003, but I can send through it. I have done the test and the email just goes back to my Yahoo email rather than Outlook (Have set up POP3). I see the problem wasn't solved so am wondering if it has something to do with saving to personal.pst, as i have tried everything else.
