Are the items in question sitting in the Junk E-mail folder?

Don't think i have a junk mail file - if i do , don't know where it is.
This problem relates to opening links from the e-mail message - example:
there was a link notifying me of a reply to my question. when i click on the
link , nothing happens.

What version of Outlook are you using? If it's 2003, have you installed SP2?

Think it's 2004 - sp2 has been installed - any other suggestions?

There is no OL2004, it's probably 2003. SP2 blocks links in some potential
phishing attempt emails

couple of weeks ago. any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

SP2 for Office 2003 didn't come out that long ago. Maybe two months ago, I
think.
