Something is not right. On occasion, Outlook 2000 does the
following:

Won't send or receive mail
Cannot find the server when send/receive is pressed
Won't close correctly - need to use cntrl-alt-del
One time erased name of smtp server

Sometimes reboot fixes the problem and sometimes just
closing outlook and mapisp32 works.

I am running workgroup configuration with one internet email
account and WIN 98SE.

Thanks for any help.

Every two minutes was the setting. I set it for ten minutes
today as a result of your question seems to be OK Now.

Thanks for the help.
