Do you have an http account configured in Outlook. If you double click on
it, it should open a window there should be an error number. It may be
helpful in determining the situation.
I am not quite sure what you mean when you ask me to double click on an
account and I get an error number. These is the errors that I get:
Task 'pop.central.cox.net - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server.
If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator
or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'MSN - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The operation timed
out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue
to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'
When I test each email account in tools, i get these messages:
Task 'MSN - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC15) : 'Unable to connect to
the network. Check your network connection or modem.'
I am connected with Outlook Express. why is this happening in OUtlook. BTW,
I imported the addys to OE and OE works fine.
Thank you,
Berto

Here are some KB articles to help you out.
I would also try setting the timeout setting to longer than the default (Can
be found on the advanced tab for the account settings)
