how do I send a email to a email address as "test@office"?

out local office use the email address as test@office
but outlook 2003 does not accept this address.how can I do?

"office" on it's own is NOT a domain. You need to set up something like
"office.net" or "office.local" or something like that.

Plus the fact that you need to have a mailserver set up with "office" as the
domain. If that's an /internal/ maibox then that's OK - if you are trying to
use POP mail with it then you need to buy and register the domain name
"office".

It must be a fully-qualified domain.

Does Outlook not automatically append the computer's domain name onto
provided hostnames?
