Sent items to non-default folder?

I would like for all items I send to go to a folder in a file other than
the default file.  A couple of months ago, somebody asked a similar
question and the reply suggested using rules.

I don't want to do this for two reasons: 1) I am constantly bumping up
against the 32k limit for rules, and, more importantly, it leaves me with
the messages still going into the default folder.  I would just get a
second copy in my new file/folder.

If it is possible, I would just like to change the location where the
default copy of the sent items go.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Tom

I don't think there's a way to do it without rules.

If you turn off the default saving of sent things to Sent Items you could
just create a single rule to move all sent things to a different folder.
