Hi,

Getdecodedcontentstream() and Getencodedcontentstream() are the functions of
IBodyPart interface of CDO.Interop assembly which returns stream
corresponding to the attachment.

Is there any functions in Microsoft Outlook 11.0 object library
correspponding to the Getdecodedcontentstream() and
Getencodedcontentstream() functions of CDO library which will return the
stream for the attachment ??

No. To work with attachments in the Outlook object model, you need to use Attachment.SaveAsFile to save it as a system file.

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for general Outlook programming issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public
.outlook.program_vba
