Dear everyone,

At the moment we are using Workgroupshare (www.workgroupshare.com) 1.53 for
10 users. Mostly we use this for public Calendar, Contacts and To-Do’s. Now
we are at a point that we want to go further. One of the main things we
would like to see is that all email traffic; both in and out going mails
are getting archived and can be viewed within a public folder within
outlook (2003). Now in the past I have tried Workgroupshare 2.0 and used a
public email folder together with outlook rules, so that incoming and
outgoing email are getting “copied” to this public email folder(s).
Unfortunately, even after getting support from this company, things weren’t
that great since “loops” of emails where giving us trouble. Now could
anyone please advise with which programs we can get such a result?  This is
what I would like to see:

1.    All emails, both in and out, needs to be archived on the server (windows
2003 standard) in an easily to backup way. So when for instant the program
on the server crashes, needs to be updated or reinstalled, nothing is gone
and the whole archived emails can be imported the way it was
2.    All emails needs to be accessed through Outlook 2003 by means of imap or
shared public folder(s) or….?
3.    Everything automated as much as possible
4.    We still need shared Calendar, To-Do and Contacts.
5.    Maybe faxing in/out would be a thing for the future

I know a lot of people would maybe suggest Microsoft Exchange, but not to
mention it’s price, I think it is also quite a complicated program, so I am
more looking for something different

Could anyone please advice?
