Hi
Hope someone can help with his.  My father has Outlook 2003, and today
he has found that emais are registering as being sent via "Send/Receive"
but they are not appearing in his Inbox, or Junk mail. They have
disappeared.  I have now sent him 3 emails, he sees them arrive but then
they are nowhere to be seen.

So far I have talked through the fixes on
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/253504/ - ie check for filters (there
are none) and email accounts (set up correctly - we did a test message
and it arrived in his email inbox no problem).

He hasn't set up any rules, so what is causing this?  And why is it only
deleting some messages, not all.
Many thanks for any help
Caagh

Have your father do an Advanced Find to try to locate one of the messages.
Maybe he's got more than one Inbox folder (multiple PST files, etc).

Sent mesages don't apear in Inbox.  Received messages do.

Make sure he's using the Messages view and that he hasn't accidently sorted
by a field other than the Received field.  Also, to the mesages appear in
the Unread Messages Search folder?  Does Advanced Find locate them?
