I am now getting over 60 spam emails a day despite not giving out my
personal email address, only friends have my home email address, companies
and so on are given my hotmail address.
My emails are intercepted by Mailwasher so it catches them Ok but my
question is:-
Is it better to "bounce" them or to delete them?
At present mailwasher deletes them.
Thank you.

I think it would be better to delete them. Bouncing them won't do any good because, in general, the mail addresses where from these spam messages come don't exist.

Deleting is a better choice.

As a MailWasher user for many years, my recommendation is definitely
just delete the messages. Do NOT use the bounce feature.

Thank you, I shall keep doing that.
