I am emailing a friend with an aol email account, and the Mail Delivery
Subsystem [MAILER-DAEMON@aol.com] is returning an error User unknown,
together with 2 files with routing information in them.

This happens even when I "Reply" to an email she sends me. I can send to her
daughter, who uses the same connection and AOL account, but a different
email name.

I use btinternet to send.

What could the problem be?

Can you send a new piece of mail to that same email address?

Hello, Vince!

No the same thing happens, with a message saying

<<< 550 xxx1311 IS NOT ACCEPTING MAIL FROM THIS SENDER 550
<xxx1311@aol.com>... User unknown

Which looks like a setting problem in her email settings.
