In outlook express, everytime I replied to an email it marked as having been
replied to. In Outlook this is not happening.  How do you make it happen? I'm
using Office 2003 standard with all recent updates.

It should be happening in Outlook as well.  There's no option to enable or
disable it.  Perhaps a detect and repair or a new mail profile would help.

QTuser,

Take a close look at the small envelope along each message header. There
will be a small left pointing arrow for those that you have replied to.
There will be a small right pointing arrow for those that you have
forwarded. They are subtle, but effective.

Sounds to me as if this help people at microsoft either don't know what they
are doing or it is better to stick with a free program instead of paying good
money for one that is incomplet.

Or you  should check that a program does what you want before switching to
it.

I think that if you use Hotmail Premium and the Outlook Connector with
Outlook Live, that you'd see your altered icons.  However, it would be
worthwhile for you to give complete descriptions of the symptoms and setup
when you post.  The type of account does make a difference in many cases and
someone could have told you that HTTP account generally behave differently
in Outlook.
