what do the symbols in the inbox of outlook 2003 represent

I have tried a few ways to find out what all the symbols are that appear in
the inbox but have not had much luck. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right
place. When I go on-line I only get the one for the calender.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
