I am amazed that importing an address book from outlook express to out look
should be so blo**y complicated. I am currently trying before I buy microsoft
office and having tried everthing in keeping with my computer abilities am
missing my address book so much I dont think I will continue with the trial.
If it can,t do this task it must be very limited.

What's complicated?  In Outlook, you click File>Import and Export>Import
Internet Mail and Addresses>Next.  Select Outlook Express, uncheck Import
Mail and Import Rules, click Next.

Thanks BrianI had allready done what you said before I posted my query. Your
description roughly fits the way, exept I get a screen asking me to chose
between Eudora? and express 456. However you are right in saying "Whats
complicated" the process isn,t its just like a treasure hunt, only easier.
Problem is IT DOESN,T WORK.

Then describe the EXACT symptoms, including any errors you receive.  It
appears to work for most other people.
