Hello all ;)

One user is experiencing an issue when trying to send for instance an
excel sheet using the menu option - "send to as attachment". When this
options is selected a new mail windows opens  -so far so good. But the
user is not able to switch to another Outlook/Office application until
this new windows is opened. If the user discards that email or clicks on
SAVE and closes it (heh, the message will not be saved in drafts folder as
many of us would expect, but in the INBOX!!! folder, huh), then the user
is after that able to switch to another application. The issue is
documented here:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Applications/MS_Office/Q_21514155.html,
where nobbody was able to help. But this is something I can't just
understand ... Outlook comes from Office family, Excel as well ... so why
is this happening ?
Could someone tell me what to where configure so this issue will not
happen anymore ? Users are very confused about this ... so simple action
and they can't work as expected ...:(

Thanks

All other windows apps (not just office apps) call up the mail application
using simple mapi, not extended mapi. They are not directly hooked into
Outlook so you can use any email app to send as attachments. Outlook is
"modal" when brought up this way so you can't do anything while the window
is open. It can't be reconfigured - unless the problem app is IE, then use
the free mailto_URL addin.
