Hi Is it possible to notify while working on other programs or even away from the computer that new mail has arrived. I know how to set it in advance options for max 30 seconds. Can one prolong this that the notification stays untill attended to? Jaco Hi Jaco, I had the same problem and I read that you can just make a rule. I have done it in Outlook 2003 and it works great. Go to the rules and start with... 1 Apply this rule after the message arrives 2 on this machine only 3 display New Email Alert in the New Item Alert window. Hope this helps.
