I seem to be able to archive a calendar before a selected date (the info is
in the archived file) but that material is not deleted from the calendar
file.  What am I doing wrong?

Note:  I'm using a "sub" calendar folder, not the main calendar.

Thank you.

Do the items in question actually make it to the archive PST?

Yes, I get a PST file that has the correct items but they also remain in the
calendar.

Do you have the option checked to delete after archiving?

No.  Delete after Archiving option NOT checked as far as I know.  Where is
it?

I purposely have auto archiving shut off because I want to control what and
when.

Thanks.
