I have Outlook 2003 and cannot get the autocomplete function to work when
entering a send to name.  I have looked in tools options, preference and do
not even find that option for the autocomplete.
Is there something I am overlooking? Because of this I still open OExpress
for my mail since I do like that feature very much.

I did find the option after some research but the autocomplete still does
not work. Was also told to look for an NK2 file but after a search none was
found. Is that causing the problem?

How do you know it is not working? Have you sent enough messages to have
populated your autocompletion cache?

What is the number of messages you need tio send to populate this?

You need to send one message.  Then the address to which you sent it will be
remembered.  The next time you send a message and begin to type that
address, it should autocomplete.

I have been sending messages through it for the last 6 weeks. Some are sent
daily to the same people.

Then your profile is corrupt. Create a new one.

Did you upgrade from Outlook 2000? If yes, maybe

However, be forewarned that upgrading from IMO mode creates a lot of other
problems that will still most likely necessitate creating a new profile.
Creating a new profile will fix all the upgrade issues in one step.
