Hey All,

I have followed all of the threads relating the Domino Connector Add-In as
well as researched the Internet because I am unable to get the Domino
Connector to establish a connection with the server. I tried every
combination of uninstalling-reinstalling that was possible without any luck.
I also looked for the KB892843 update that was mentioned in one of the
newsgroup that was assumed to be the main problem.  I found that I don't
have it installed on the machine.  I running Windows XP Pro with Office 2003
Pro (SP2).  I was wondering if there is any other possible solutions this
problem.

Thanks in advance for your help,

J. B.

I had the same problem, which actually occured after installing another
unrelated program, that uses JAVA. It seems that the Outlook Connector for
Domino uses JAVA, and any program modifying the system PATH variable and
changing the location of the JRE (java run-time environment) can stop the
connector from working So I just removed the newly added JAVA path entries
made by the new application, and the Outlook Connector started working
again.

So take a look at your path variable and see if you can finde the reason
there.

It would be nice if Microsoft documented this on their web-page

keywords: outlook connector for domino can't be started

Sincerely,

Morten H Pedersen
