If it was sent with Send on Behalf Of permission, it will say From UserA On Behalf Of UserB.
If it was sent with Send As permission, it will say From UserB, with no indication that UserA was ever involved.

That makes sense and is how i imagined it should work, must be something
wrong in my lab as it does not display on behalf.

If it doesn't display Send On Behalf Of, then the logical conclusion is that the Send As permission (which prevails) is present.
