Help with Fonts

I'm running Windows XP, SP2 and Office 2003.

In Outlook (not Outlook Express) when I open a message, the fonts are
too small.

Everything was working fine for months.  I had all my font settings the
way I wanted them.  I use HTML for my compose format, abd both of the
Microsoft Word checkboxes are checked. I have made NO changes to any of
the settings, and they still show as what I set them to.

Then, staring last week, things started to go wrong.  Now, when I open
a message, the font is too small.  I can do the Control-Scroll wheel
thing to make the font bigger, but it won't "stick."  Every time I open
a new message, it reverts back to the too-small font.  Sometimes when I
reply to a message, the font may be too small also.  Or, the font in my
sig file is correct, but my newly typed text is in the smalled font.

Again, I made no changes to my set up.  This is my computer at work,
and no new software or plug-ins have been installed.

How can I make the fonts stay the size I want them to be?  Thanks.

Check your zoom settings in Word.

That seems to have done it (so far).  The Zoom in Word was set to
"Whole Page".  I set it to 100%.  Thanks.
