You need a third-party tool like

Hi smokiibear,

On this site is an article on various ways to share Outlook data:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011477571033.aspx

On the Microsoft Office Marketplace site is also a list of third-party
messaging
tools:

This is a question for the ages.  I don't know why Microsoft won't allow
non-Enterprise customers the option to share the Calendar out of the box.

Anyway, I've long searched for a tool for this and I've been to the links
provided several times in the past.  I was hoping to hear some "real world"
testimonials from people who have used these 3rd party tools.  There are soo
many that I'd like to narrow them down with a bit of referral/vouching
action!  :-)

I agree with Jeff

I too am looking to narrow the 3rd party software field down.

Does anyone have experience with using any of these (or others) for a small
office 10-20 employees? Most of these (with exception of the first two) are
not much cheaper than getting exchange server ($599 server; 67 ea license –
total $1269), even though they claim to be a cost effective solution.

Here are a list of the few I am considering:
MapiLab Groupware Server                $49 ea; $390 10 licenses
WorkgroupShare – by Softalk            $345 for 10
Public ShareWare – by SDMD (Oliver Vukovics)    $118 us ; $934.72 us for 10
Group Outlook – by Amarilo  Software        $99.95; $999.50 for 10
Group Calendar/Office Calendar – by Lookout software $99.95; 899.50 for 10
4Team for MS Outlook – by 4Team Online        $1499 – server, unlimited license

I would really appreciate any users feedback on these products.

Thanks heaps.
James
