How do I email AOL members through outlook?

I am now using outlook.  My email account is with bellsouth.net.  I can email
other people but when I email AOL members I get an error message that says "
550 relaying mail to aol.com is not allowed".  I've contacted AOL and they
told me they have blocked port 25 due to spam and to change my port number to
587.  When I did that, I couldn't send emails to anyone.  They then told me
to contact Bellsouth.  I did and Bellsouth said that they do not help with
outlook configuration that I would need to contact Microsoft.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, most ISPs refuse to assist with e-mail configurations of any
program that is not Outlook Express.  I've seen this problem with users who
have more than one e-mail account.  Check your SMTP (outgoing mail)
settings.  Is the domain of your e-mail address the same as the domain of
your SMTP server?  If they are not, some of your mail will be rejected by
servers that recognize this as relay mail.  In other words, AOL will not
accept mail from anyone with a"microsoft.com" e-mail address if they use a
bellsouth.net outgoing mail server.  The two domains should match.  If you
use bellsouth.net, then the e-mail address on Outlook should be a
bellsouth.net address.

Example:
if your e-mail address is "mary at bellsouth dot net", then
your SMTP server has to be something like "smtp dot bellsouth dot net" or
"mail dot bellsouth dot net".  Contact Bellsouth and simply ask them "What
is the SMTP server name?"  They DO have to help you with that.

Off-domain port 25 (SMTP) traffic blocked to thwart spam from spamming or
infected customers:

Talk to BellSouth. This error is coming from them. Make sure you've
configured Outlook per:

They perhaps misunderstood your question, those instructions are for AOL
members.
