Yes. Open the email. Right click each name as it appears in the grey top
section of the email. Select Add to Contacts. This assumes you have 2002 or
2003 - you didn't tell us your version.

It should work in any message. Or you can get an addin to extract addresses
automatically

Yes the right click on the email addy gave me some choices including
add to contacts
