I'd probably reformat your test platform (or reimage) and start again.

My problem is shortly after starting Outlook 2007 Beta, the system message
reads
"The data file "Archive Folders" was not closed properly."
A short while later, an error report reads:
"Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience."
Detect and repir didn't help.
Now I cannot access my mail altogether without Outlook.
I am desperate. Any help?

Hello essy,
Do you get that same behavior every time you try to start Outlook? Have
you tried rebooting your system and then restarting Outlook?
This is a good example of why you don't want to use Beta software on mail
folders that are going to cause you great distress if there is a problem.
