I have just started a new job and have been given an e-mail account which
uses Outlook Web Access.  Is it possible to import the account details into
Outlook 2007 so I don't have to log in everytime I want to check it?

TIA

No.  OWA is just a web interface into an Exchange server and there's no way
to import anything into it.

If you access the OWA account with an http:// address, not an https:// address, you can try adding it as an HTTP mail account; set it up manually. Otherwise, no.

It should be called Exchange Web Access in my opinion.

I suppose it is possible to write some complex WebDAV code to pull such
content, but no, it is a web interface to your mailbox (think Yahoo or
Hotmail).  It's there wherever you go.

It will need to be enabled on the server end but if set up correctly, you can
sync Outlook over HTTP.

I will not try to tell you how as I am an admin and think you need to talk
to your IS guy first.

Anyway, I think that is really your question. You want to download your
mail/calender/etc. locally so you can read offline?
