In Outlook 2003, I have all the mail options set to HTML format for my
emails. When I create a new contact directly from Outlook, and right-click
on the email address field and select 'properties', it says the Internet
Format is "Let Outlook decide the best sending format", which is what I
want.
The mystery is what happens when the new contact is created by Intellisync
Lite when I sync my Sony Clie PDA. A new contact created this way shows
that the Internet Format for that new contact's email address is "Send using
Outlook's Rich Text Format", which I don't want. Currently, any time I
create a new contact through syncing, I have to manually go in and change
the Internet Format field.
Any ideas out there about why the default Internet Format for new contacts
would be one way when created directly in Outlook, and something else when
created by Intellisync Lite? The Clie doesn't have a field for internet
format, so this setting is getting generated from some sort of default
somewhere - perhaps in the registry. But I can't figure out why the default
would be different for sync'ing than when creating the contact from Outlook
directly.
Thanks in advance!

You would have to ask Intellisync since they are the ones
creating/converting contacts to RTF. Check your Intellisync options.
