I have a very stupid question.

Why can't I access newsgroups through Outlook 2003?  Why do I have to use
Outlook Express?

I would love to be able to use one program to do both but don't want to use
Outlook Express.

Regards
Andy

Aloha Andy,

A question that has been asked many, many times.  The simple answer is that
Microsoft didn't want to bloat the already large Outlook with a feature set
already included with Internet Explorer (OE) for free which most users don't
use anyhow.

That said, there are 3rd party tools like NewsLook which you can use as an
add-in to Outlook which will let you read newsgroups in Outlook.
