trouble setting up e mail account

I set up the e mail account ,tried the  ( test accont setting ) and it was
succesful, but  I am not able to receive or send any mail in the inbox, I am
using outlook 2003, please any help!!!!!!!!!!!

Not enough info to help you. Type of email? Name of ISP? Did you receive the
test email? If not, it didn't work. Remember Outlook does not work with free
web mail.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for  your response  I  used  2000 outlook  before then I upgraded to
2003 and since  i am not  able to receive any mail ,  I am using dsl extreme
as ISP  I am setting 2 different accounts  one for dsl extreme  e mail  and
the other is for paid yahoo web mail  , and  I was able to receive the test
message from microsoft  in both accounts and that is it nothing else is
happening no receiving nor sending to any mail from outlook.  hope this will
clear what kind of problem I have.  Thanks again

Hi again ,
  I am using  pop account , and I tried to check  using  adifferent profile
but got no results.
