I am trying to set up my Outlook 2000 to automatically recieve mail at start
up. I have read the posts in the discussion group but they did not answer my
question. My OS is Windows XP

I suspect very few folks will be able to answer your question until you ask
it...  We can probably guess that it has something to do with automatic send

You have not provided enough version information. Outlook 2000 existed as 2
