hi,
in my company we are using outlook 2003 US and FR with exchange 2003 US.
when we re using outlook US, the global address list used is called "\Global
Address List" and when we re using outlook FR, the global list is called
"\Liste d'adresses globale" and this is 2 different lists.

how can i modify this parameter in order the french version uses the
"\Global Address List" path?

thanks for your answer.

The GAL is created by Active Directory and handled by Exchange. If you have
only the one exchange server and no exchange admin has created a second GAL,
then both the US and FR versions of Outlook will point to the same GAL
regardless of its name. If there are two GALs, then you can specify which one
the client looks at per mailbox database. So have 2 databases, one for FR one
for US. Set the US to look at the US GAL and vise-versa.
Don't be confused by the fact that teh FR version of outlook calls the GAL
by a different name, the DL, NR, CZ and other versions will all have
different names, but they all translate to Global Address List.
