How do I get Email send and receive into my primary mailbox?

My email inbox/outbox is in a folder other than personal folders. I would
like to send and receive from the primary mailbox account.

And what email might that be?
And what do you mean by the "primary email account"?
Outlook sends from the default email account by err, default!

What type of email acct do you have? IMAP will always use its own set of
folders.
