how do i stop outlook express timing out so i can recieve mail?

Everytime I open outlook express it recieves the same couple of emails over
and over again then times out. I have over 70 emails but only recieve the
first few repeatedly. how di i fix this problem. I have somewhat limited
computer knowledge so any help would be great.

Actually, I'd ask in the microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general newsgroup,
as OE has nothing to do with Outlook.

Since you're also using the web based newsreader rather than outlook
express, you might want to use
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.as...
(or, since you're using Outlook Express for mail, look at the steps in
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/community/columns/newsgroups101.mspx for
how to set up OE to use the microsoft newsgroup server).
