This has been driving me nuts for ages.  Why is Outlook so slow at accessing
my IMAP account?

Are there any tips on speeding up Outlook 2007?  I have two Hotmail
accounts, using the Outlook Connector, an IMAP account, and two POP3
accounts.

Also, on my IMAP account, only the headers are downloaded.  I have to select
the email and then wait few seconds before it appears in the preview pane.
How do I make Outlook fully download the email, so I so not have to wait
while going through them.

Cheers

ss.

Press Alt-Ctrl-S.  When the Send/Receive Groups dialoge opens, select the
Send/Receive group containing the IMAP account (probably All Accounts) and
click Edit.  Select the IMAP account and change the download setting to the
right of the folder list so that it will download the entire message.  If
you use Outlook 2003 or 2007, your Junk E-mail filter won't operate on the
IMAP account unless you do this.
