Outlook 2007 - auto answer machine

i cannot use auto answer machine if the pc is not a domain computer.

but other functions of outlook seem no such restriction.

could you let me know if i am wrong or the reason of such restriction?

Yes, Out-Of-Office requires an Exchange account.
