The problem I am having on only 1 machine in the office is
when switching between the 2 views "Normal View and Slide
Sorter View" on a presentation with more than a hundred
slides is that it will not come back to the slide
selected. So after each time I flip back, I must pan back
up or down to the original slide I was working on. Has
anyone encountered this and have any ideas how to fix it.
I have ran every sevice pack for both Office2000 and
Windows2000, and even reloaded office2000 on the machine
infected. Changing workstations is not an option. :P
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

One solution would be to write a Change View Macro that would change the
views for you then reselect the previously selected slide.  This Macro would
be used instead of the View | Slide Sorter // Normal commands.

Of course it would be better to find the reason for the difference, but may
be a better investment of your time to just use the VBA Macro.

I'm not sure what you're doing to flip back, but I'd guess you're choosing
View, Normal?

Instead, doubleclick the slide you want in Sorter view to go back to Normal
view with that slide on screen.

Does that do the job?
