Hiding bullet points

I am new with Powerpoint. I have my main bullet point, then a second bullet point and the third I want to not show until I click the button to come up. This way I can talk about things before it appears.

Can anyone help me to figure this out?

First help us figure out which version of PPT you're using. It's under
Help/About if you don't know.
