I make lots of presentations with music in them, but whenever I send them to a friend, the music doesn't work. Why is this, and can I change it? Why is this, and can I change it? >. You need to make sure you are sending the music files along with the ppt files - music does not embed into the shows. Steps - Create a new folder. Put the ppt slideshow into that folder, then also put all the elements you used - (esp any sound files) into that same folder - now go back inside the show and reset the links so they are only looking into that folder.
