I make lots of presentations with music in them, but whenever I send them to
a friend, the music doesn't work. Why is this, and can I change it?

Gargore,

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or email a presentation

First thing - make a folder
2nd - put the ppt file and all the other
items you want to use in the show inside

First - make a folder
second - put the ppt show and all related
files into this folder (including any music
        files)
powerpoint MUST be able to see the associated files
within the same folder as the ppt show or the links
cannot work.

You need to make sure you are sending the music files
along with the ppt files - music does not embed into
the shows.

Steps -
Create a new folder. Put the ppt slideshow
into that folder, then also put all the elements
you used - (esp any sound files) into that same
folder - now go back inside the show and reset the
links so they are only looking into that folder.
Resave show, copy folder and send folder - not just
the show itself.
