It seems iosysoft.com and Paul have left the web.
Does anybody know where Paul can be reached?
He seems to be specialized in multimonitor solutions

Bye,

Frans

Can't offer you help on Paul, but what is your question about multiple
monitors?  We have some people who are pretty good with them here as well.
Perhaps, we could help you find a solution.

Hi Bill,

Well, I already was in contact with Chirag, Glen, Troy and some others
(http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&threadm=%2335liM
pcEHA.3792%40TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26
group%3Dmicrosoft.public.powerpoint
)

Did you have somebody special in mind?

They gave me some helpfull solutions-hints, but I'm not satisfied completly.
And Paul seems to have build also some nice tools for controling PP's on
more than 2 monitors and PC's. He's all over the web when googling, but he
can't be found.

I just like to try different possiblities.
Powershow looks good, but I like to control things from one “control” –
presentation, which the audience don’t see.

I  have to work on 4 PC’s with 6 screens total. (One PC with 3x21”, one PC
with 2x22” and one with a 50”)

On each PC I have to run different PP session
During the sessions other applications must be started to show some practice.
Inbetween we have to switch back to the PP’s.
How to handle this easy, without joggling with 4 keyboard, mouses and also
following the presentationscript?

I am now so for that I have one "command"PP with buttons wich activate
PSEXEC
, thus starting batchfiles on the other PC's. Those batchfiles start 1 page
PP's.
By this I can control it quite well. I am Also using Chirags Powershow to
manage
the 3 monitors on one PC.
A remaining problem is the "screengap" that apears when I close the first
(1-page) PPS and open the next one. (I have to close the first it because I
cannot show two PPS at the same time in the same windowsession)

Thanks,

Frans

BTW I think it's great that people are willing to help others on these
matters!

The simple solution would be a fade to black slide at the end of the
presentation with an all black desktop and a fade up from black on the
beginning of the next presentation.

Bill D.

BTW, you have named the people I was thinking of.  :)

Frans,
If it is any consolation, I haven't been able to reach Paul either. After
your post yesterday, I sent an email to the address I had for him (very
old - from back when he wrote the article on my site), but it bounced. I did
a Google and Google Groups search and couldn't find any newer contact
information for Paul.

It's too bad. he is a good guy and was a great resource.

Frans,

In Australia, a couple is two. But then again, a couple of days, if a
project is due, can be several days <g>.
